Ear Candy

Rebranding Logo and Signage

The Ear Candy rebranding project was aimed at attracting a younger audience to the record store, and as the graphic designer, my goal was to develop a bold and colorful visual identity that reflected the store's values and vision. I used a combination of hand-drawn illustrations and custom typography to create a fun and memorable logo that would be easily recognizable. The logo features a candy can with colorful stripes and headphones, emphasizing the store's focus on music.

The design process involved several sketches exploring different ideas, but the candy can and headphones concept stood out the most. I combined these two ideas to create a design that accurately reflects the store's sweet and playful nature, while also conveying its commitment to providing quality music to its customers. The custom typography used in the logo adds to its unique and playful character, making it a memorable and effective branding tool.

The new branding was applied to various marketing materials, including business cards, t-shirts, and tote bags, showcasing its versatility and effectiveness in promoting the store. The resulting visual identity effectively conveys the store's message and vision, establishing it as a must-visit destination for music lovers. Overall, the Ear Candy rebranding project was an exciting and allowed me to showcase my passion for design and my ability to deliver effective solutions that meet client needs.
